Field Service

The ACS field service team fill permanent electrical roles in NSW focused solely on sites that operate GE drive system trucks. This partnership with our customers works well and incorporates ongoing employee development and support combined with broader ACS services that can be delivered through our onsite team.

In addition to the permanent onsite labour we also provide support as required more broadly to mines across Australia. This can be in the form of fleet audits, onsite training, truck builds, advanced fault finding and various other related projects.

Specialist Labour

We have a team of electricians of varying background and experience primarily operating in the NSW region of Australia. This dedicated team provide onsite maintenance and support with a company focus and background on the GE drive systems, both AC Invertex and DC Statex systems. We strive to provide the highest level of technical support not only directly via our team but also indirectly either through our employee support network or other means such as our online platform.

Audits

As an Australian owned independent supplier, ACS are often asked to work in conjunction or independently on site projects, whether this be after an incident or proactively on truck maintenance items. In the past we have contributed in the following areas:

  • Inventory stock and levels
  • Truck and fleet audits
  • Service sheets and planned maintenance intervals
  • Electrician training needs and training

Technical Support

ACS first started providing trained and qualified electrical tradespeople into mining operations in 2008. There was a need for not only competent hardworking electricians - but also a structure that provided technical support and training to enable these individuals to grow and mature into specialist truck electricians. ACS provided this in the form of formal and informal training, combined with specific advanced technical support to drive system faults and maintenance. Since 2008 ACS have also provided mining employees with the same level of support and training and this continues to this day. We consider the technical support an integral part of the ACS package of services and believe it integrates well with our offsite repair services and parts supply functions.
